Communion with the Church [IMPRIMIR]
Our community is canonically organized as a Private Association of the Faithful of Diocesan Rights and has its Rules, Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws approved by the Church.
We are also an Associate Member of Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities and Fellowships (Catholic Fraternity International) of Bari/Italy.
Our Founder and General Moderator, Mr. Paulo Roberto B. Diniz, seats in the Board of Directors of FRATER (Catholic Fraternity of Brazil.)
We hold ourselves accountable to the local ecclesial authority, the Most Reverend Frederick Henry, Bishop of Calgary. As we share our gifts and our charism, we understand our responsibility to be rooted and involved in the life of the parish(es) where we serve, and in the areas of its mission.

“(…) True charisms cannot but aim at the encounter with Christ in the sacraments. The ecclesial realities to which you belong have helped you to rediscover your baptismal vocation, to appreciate the gifts of the Spirit received at Confirmation, to entrust yourselves to God's forgiveness, to recognize the Eucharist as the source and summit of all Christian life. You have learned that faith is not abstract talk, nor vague religious sentiment, but new life in Christ instilled by the Holy Spirit.” (JOHN PAUL II – Meeting with Ecclesial Movements and New Communities – Pentecost; May 30, 1998, n. 7)
“(…) among the many fruits produced for Church life by the Second Vatican Council, the “new associative movement” of the lay faithful undoubtedly holds a special place. Once again the Spirit has intervened in the history of the Church, raising new charisms that possess an extraordinary missionary dynamism which responds in an opportune way to the challenges of our time.” (CARDINAL STANISLAW RYLKO, President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity – First Congress of Ecclesial Movements and New Communities in Latin America – March 9, 2006)
“(…) the charisms of movements and new ecclesial communities must be welcomed by the Church “with much love” and without “superficial and reductive judgments. (…) They are a gift of the Lord, a precious resource to enrich our whole Christian community with their charisms. Thus, a confident welcome that gives space to and values their contributions in the life of the local Churches must not be lacking.” (BENEDICT XVI – Seminar on Movements - May 18, 2008)
